Chatswood

This was a full pool renovation of a 1980’s pool. At first, the pool shape was odd, but it became the main feature of a beautiful area.

Demolition was how this job started – removing of existing gardens, pool paving and water line tiles
Next came the reinforced concrete(including a cantilevered section over the hidden filtration equipment) for the new paving and pergola support.

Custom cut and bull nosed coping was a lot of work, but it created beautiful smooth curves that make this area so special. Large format travertine paving was then installed prior to the custom designed pergola being installed. We had the pergola fabricated off site and bolted together once onsite, painted and then hardwood battern screening installed as the rear wall and roof to give it a modern feel. This was matched on the opposite boundary to give balance to the area.

The area was finished off with a low stone clad wall to add another layer of colour and texture
